You're Enough: The Surprising Power of Being Adequate.
Hey there, beautiful souls!
Welcome to the Starseed Coaching blog. Every month, I access the Akashic Records (aka the quantum field of soul awareness - YouTube video that explains it) so the record keepers and I can play a little word game. I ask for one word and then…well read on and you’ll see how a single word can convey deep truths.
Adequate.
Adequate…really?? I thought that seemed like a dud.
The True Meaning of Adequate
Most of us spend decades chasing external validation of our self worth. We get caught up in the collective striving to be extraordinary; Instagram-perfect. Productivity and Performative puppets. But like a hamster wheel, we end up right where we started, seeking more and more approval and it's exhausting. In our quest for love and belonging, we've forgotten something crucial:
We're already enough. Just as we are.
"Adequate" has lost its original meaning. We think it means "meh" or "barely passing." But if we look back to the 17th century, the Latin word "adaequatus" meant "made equal to." Equal. Sufficient. Enough. If we are adequate exactly as we are, we need no comparison to define us. We can BE who we are already.
Adequate lands differently than the narrative of exceptional. We don't need to strive for approval or recognition. We don't need to produce to be accepted or show our worth.
Celebrate your Adequacy
When we embrace being adequate, we're not settling for less. We're recognizing our innate wholeness. We say to the universe, "I don't need to prove myself. I'm good as is."
We are generative, however, from our own sense of adequacy, where we lack nothing and are connected to everything. Connected to our true equality in LIGHT, we create as a natural expression of who we are beyond our form in a playful and unencumbered way. We don't need to make ourselves GREAT in the eyes of others - rather - we reflect the greatness that we all are in truth.
Recently in an Akashic session with a client, we were exploring what she could do to deepen her spiritual life and experiences. By her own admission, she was always chasing the next big thing in her spiritual development journey - always wanting more; more books, more workshops, more retreats, and ultimately more stress instead of peace.
The Akashic beings of light pointed to how she was “pursuing spiritual life” akin to the pursuing of acquisition in her professional life. We asked soul deep questions getting to the root of her feelings of unworthiness. Seeking a spiritual magical answer to make her feel complete, she was instead feeling hollow and unfulfilled. That was the lightbulb moment - realizing she was enough - she was adequate and loved period.
From Adequate to Extraordinary: A New Perspective
That's the magic of adequacy. When we stop TRYING to shine so bright and be super-special-snowflake extraordinary all the time, we open up to our true creativity. We connect with our inner light. We live because it's fun, not because we're trying to prove something.
So here's your spiritual growth challenge for the month: Embrace your adequacy. Seriously. Try it on like your favorite flip-flops. Notice how it feels. Maybe it's uncomfortable at first – that's okay. Sit with it.
Remember, you don't need to be great in anyone's eyes. You're already reflecting the greatness that's in all of us. You're connected to everything. You're enough.
And from that place of enoughness? That's where the real spiritual magic happens. That's where you'll find your unique spark, your true voice, your authentic path to personal development.
You're adequate, lovelies. And that's more than enough.
How's this landing with you? Feel free to share your thoughts or experiences in the comments. Let's make this spiritual journey a little more down-to-earth together!
True inner peace comes from accepting yourself, adequacy and all. Keep reflecting the light, you beautiful, adequate beings!
